SWANAGE 273-5 (10pts) v PORTLAND RT 72-0 (7pts) – match abandoned
PORTLAND Red Triangle saw an explosive chase abruptly halted by rain as their County Division One meeting at Swanage fell victim to the weather.
Triangle took home seven points to Swanage’s ten, the hosts shaking off losing the toss and storming to a total in excess of a run per ball.
Craig Wells top scored with 92 not out, smashing 11 fours and three sixes, while Sid Nash (66) also bagged a half-century.
Tom Wells (44) and Charlie Dyke (24) added meaty scores with young Portland seamer Eddie Moles (2-40) the pick of the away bowlers.

The duo marched to 72-0 from 12 overs before the elements worsened and the match was called off.
Triangle Seconds saw their home clash with Wimborne Seconds washed out in Division Five.
