PETER Wilson has this afternoon won gold at London 2012 in the double trap shooting.
The Dorchester-born shooter took a three-shot lead into the final at the Royal Artillery Barracks and, despite a couple of minor wobbles, the 25-year-old held his nerve to win by two shots, scoring 188 out of 200.
Silver went to Sweden's Hakan Dahlby while Russian Vasily Mosin claimed bronze after a shoot-off with Fehaid Aldeehani of Kuwait.
