BRENDON King looks set to add two more players to his squad in goalkeeper Simon Evans and forward Ben Joyce.
Both men turned out for the Terras in Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Portland United and it appears it is only a matter of time before they agree terms.
King told Echosport: “I have been speaking to both players for a while now. They have both been here before and they are keen to return.
“I am currently sorting things out with them and it was good to see them in action on Saturday.”
Joyce grabbed the winner at Grove Corner in a 2-1 victory after Mark Ford had given Weymouth the lead.
King added: “Due to family circumstances, Ben has not done an awful lot of training but he came off the bench and took his goal very well.
“It was also nice to see Fordy find the target and overall it was a pleasing performance in what was our first friendly.”
When asked whether there are any other potential signings in the pipeline, King said: “There may be a little bit of scope still there but we will have to wait and see.”
