WEYMOUTH 3
HUNGERFORD TOWN 1
WARREN Byerley and Matt Groves did the damage for Weymouth tonight as they progressed into the third qualifying round of the FA Cup with a fine 3-1 victory at Hungerford Town.
Byerley put the visitors ahead in the replay on 11 minutes before Luke Hopper levelled just six minutes later.
Matt Groves then restored the lead on 20 minutes before grabbing his second with five minutes remaining to put the result beyond doubt.
Had it not been for a sublime performance from keeper Stuart Moore, the Terras would have scored more but they will be more than satisfied with their evening's work, which has seen them scoop £4,500 and a clash at Totton in the next round on October 15.
