QUAYSIDE go into tomorrow’s Premiership clash against Weyline full of confidence following last weekend’s 4-3 victory over Tuatara.
Like the T-Bar, Weyline are seen as one of the favourites to land the title this season so the Quay will be looking to make another huge statement, following their promotion from the Championship last season.
Quayside boss Bobby Darch, who missed last Sunday’s triumph, said: “We are looking to move forward again after last week’s win over Tuatara but unfortunately we have been hit again by unavailabilities with Bryn Lewis, Stuart Crane and Marc Dalley all away.
“However, I am back this week along with Dan McDonald, and with new signings Josh Bennett and Sam Peterson in contention hopefully we can pull off another good result.”
SAS, the conquerors of reigning champions Rendezvous on the opening day, take on Rodwell, while Alexandra will be in action at Duke of Albany. The Vous will entertain T-Bar.
Meanwhile in the Championship, Galaxy Lions host Old Castle, looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat against Broadmayne.
The Portlanders are expected to be boosted by the return of several players including recent signing James Corbin.
