Dorchester TOWN 3
WELLING UNITED 2
THE Magpies produced a superb performance to end high-flying Welling's unbeaten start to the season at the Avenue Stadium this afternoon.
Chris Flood put Dorchester ahead from the spot before Ben Dickenson added a second later in the first half.
Gary Bowles then got the third just after the break but the Wings ensured it was a tense finale by replying with two goals of their own from Jack Parkinson and Lee Clarke.
However, the visitors were unable to force a leveller in the closing stages, handing Town a welcome three points.
