PINUPS celebrated lifting the Weymouth & Portland League men’s title for the 14th time at the league’s annual presentation even-ing.
The awards night was held at Wellworthy Sports and Social Club and saw the Diamonds retain their Ladies’ Division One crown by beating Wyke Orbits by four points.
The first ladies completed the double after they won the Knock-out Cup, overcoming WWMC Live Wires in the final.
In the men’s competition, Weymouth Wanderers lifted the cup after beating Wykies in the showpiece.
Drifters won the Treasurer’s Cup, beating All Sorts, while in the men’s equivalent, the Secret- ary’s Cup, PBLC’C’ saw off Megastars.
The ladies’ pairs went to Emma Patterson and Gina Garman of Socialites who beat Lyn Harvey and Jan Day of WWMC Live Wires.
In the men’s competition, Tony Hill and Garry Hill of Wyke WMC Imps triumphed over John Hawkins and Dan Suansrakaew (Untouchables).
In the mixed pairs, Patterson won again, this time accompanied by Jason Pring of Hardys Admirals to beat their team-mates, Sue Perren and Paul Perren.
Joe Stone, the landlord of the Wyke Smugglers, the league’s main sponsor, presented the trophies.
