STRUGGLING Beaminster will be looking to turn the form book on its head when they visit table-topping Dorchester Seconds in Dorset League Division Two tomorrow (2pm).

The Memorial Ground outfit, rooted to the foot of the table, are yet to taste success this season while in stark contrast their hosts are flying off the back of three straight wins.

Beaminster captain Ross Baker said: “It’s a big derby game for us and we’re looking forward to it.

“With the players available to us at this time of year it’s difficult.

“But I am hoping we can at least be competitive tomorrow.

“Dorchester are top of the league so they will be confident of winning again.

“But in the past we have always had close games with Dorchester and we always rise to the occasion against them – hopefully that’s the same again tomorrow.”

Richie Runyard, Murray Legg, Steve Garland and Adam Herring are all unavailable for the visitors, with Nick Holelly, Colin Lloyd, fit-again Chris Park and debutant Paddy King taking their places.

The fifth and final change to the side that lost at Witchampton last week sees Hacon Edgley replace Hugh Rathbone.

Beaminster: David, Park, Jones, Everitt, Baker, Hillier, King, Edgeley, Lloyd, Holelly, Barber.
