WEYMOUTH driver Geoff Blake continued his fine start to the speed hillclimbing season at Wiscombe Park with another double.
The Westfield pilot dealt with the changing weather and track conditions in the morning’s practice session to achieve a climb of 43.15 seconds.
In the competitive runs during the afternoon, Blake upped the pace to take a first run lead with 42.66 before improving to a best of 42.33, narrowly missing setting a personal best time.
Second in the Modified Specialist Production car category was Graham Blake, as ever sharing the driving duties with his son.
The following day the result was similar with Blake junior posting just one official time of 43.70 to secure victory ahead of his dad who had closed to within just over one second.
Frampton drivers Rod Thorne and Colin Pook claimed two second places and two fourths in their respective battles.
