CHAIRMAN Shaun Hearn is urging local businesses to enter Dorchester Town’s annual patrons’ draw.

For an entry fee of £250 plus VAT, companies and individuals will be in with a chance of winning a host of sponsorship packages, including sponsorship of the Magpies’ shirts, which was last year won by Southern Sealed Units.

Naming rights to the Avenue Stadium, together with sponsorship of the under-18s, will also be up for grabs, at an extra cost of £125 plus VAT for patrons and £200 plus VAT for non-patrons.

The patrons draw will be held as part of a casino night at the club on Friday, July 15.

Hearn said: “It’s a good opportunity for businesses. Interest has been very good so far and it appears the feel-good factor is back.

“Whatever local businesses put into the club stays there and helps the team.”

Meanwhile, 12 lifetime season tickets, each costing £1,000, have already been sold, meaning there are only nine remaining.

The offer is aimed at commemorating the 21st anniversary of the Avenue Stadium, and Hearn added: We’ve got nine life season tickets left having already sold 12 and once they are gone, they are gone because we won’t be doing it again. It’s a fantastic offer.”
