CAME Down ladies’ captain Hillary Burgess is among three players whose handicaps have been cut as a result of excellent play in medals and stablefords.

Burgess shot a nett 69 in the April medal to finish runner-up in the Bronze A+B division and her good form has been matched by that of Margaret Jones and Sarah Ayling.

A nett 67 from Jones helped her win the silver division of the April medal, while Ayling has been in outstanding form in the past couple of months.

She captured the Guernsey Can – a stableford competition – after carding a commendable 38 points and also finished runner-up in the Bronze A division back in March, thanks to another 38-point haul.
