WEYMOUTH has unveiled its new playing strips for the 2011/12 campaign after agreeing a new three-year deal with MJM Sports of Bideford.
The sportswear supplier will provide the Terras with high-quality kit from the range manufactured by leading Italian brand Macron.
And the Devon-based company’s managing director Terry Schofield is over the moon with the link-up.
He said: “I am delighted to have secured this contract to supply one of the West Country’s biggest clubs.
“I also feel we will bring plenty to the marketing arm of the club and I am looking forward to a long and successful future with Weymouth FC.
“After a long and difficult period I wish the club continued success for the forthcoming seasons.”
The new retro-style collared shirts come in the traditional claret and blue (home) and yellow and blue (away), complete with the club’s original crest, which has replaced the more recent design that was introduced by ex-chairman Malcolm Curtis.
MJM Sports will also assist with the sales and marketing of the club’s replica kits and leisurewear by setting up an online shop for the convenience of all supporters.
Replica shirts are scheduled to go on sale soon at a special launch price of £20 for juniors and £25 adults when purchased before the end of this month. More details on the online shop will be announced soon.
Meanwhile, talks are still ongoing between the club and main sponsor Weyline, whose current deal has come to an end.
