WEYMOUTH boss Brendon King is no doubts that tomorrow’s trip to Merley Cobham Sports will be called off.

Even if the Magna Dorset Premier League game somehow survives the adverse weather, it is still likely to be postponed due to seven Weymouth players being called up to the Dorset Under-18s squad, who are due to take on Cornwall at Grove Corner tomorrow.

King said: “I cannot possibly see it being given the go ahead due to the weather but even if it was on, we would probably exercise our right to call it off anyway due to seven of our players being called up by Dorset.

“Mitch Conning, Joe Charles, Eddy Mitchell, George Kimber, Luke Winspur, Lloyd Beals and Aston Butcher are the ones that have received the call, and I think it is great, as I have always encouraged players to represent their county.

“The Dorset Under-18s manager did phone me and apologise for taking so many of them but I don’t have a problem with it at all, as it is good experience for them.

“However, I do not see that game going ahead either but we shall just have to wait and see.”

Portland’s Dan Austin and Jimmy McKay are also both named in manager Jamie Murray’s 16-man squad.

Dorset: Dan Austin, Jimmy McKay (Portland United), Lloyd Beals, Aston Butcher, Joe Charles, Luke Winsper (Weymouth), Jason Beal, James Coffin (Shaftesbury), Tom Hunt (Wimborne Town), Sam Jones (Parley Sports), John Lovell (Swanage Town & Herston), Lee Mullins (Wareham Rangers), George O’Sullevan, Jack Satterley, Daniel Spencer (Hamwor-thy United), Jordan Seabright (Poole Town).
