FORMER Reading striker Pierre Joseph-Dubois and ex-Portland United keeper Nick Carroll have become the latest new additions to the Terras’ squad.

Joseph-Dubois returns for his third spell while Carroll will provide competition for Tom Manley and Ashley Weeks.

Both men have signed non-contract terms and are expected to go straight into this afternoon’s squad for the Zamaretto Premier Division clash against Oxford City at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

Weymouth manager Ian Hutch-inson said: “We have been keeping an eye on Pierre. He had a very good pre-season with Hayes & Yeading and fortunately for us they let him go.

“When he was with us last season he had just come back from an injury so this time around I think the fans will see a fitter and sharper Pierre. He will certainly add an extra dimension to our attack.”

Commenting on Carroll’s arrival, Hutchinson added: “Many thanks must go to Stuart Heath at Portland who kindly wavered the seven days’ notice and allowed him to join us straight away.

“He will go straight into the first-team squad, with Ashley getting a run out for the reserves. We will then rotate the pair of them.”
