WESSEX Golf Centre duo Michael Watson and Jon Bevan opened their bid to land the Business Fort English PGA Championship at Goodwood Golf Club yesterday with one over par 72s.
The Weymouth-based colleagues are currently joint 20th, five shots adrift of leader James Harris (Nevill).
Round two gets underway today.
