SAM Dodge picked up an incredible set of five awards at the Wey Valley School Sports presentation evening.
Among his collection was the much-coveted Sports Personality of the Year, a just reward for his participation in a wide range of sports, which saw him captain the Year 11 football and basketball teams.
Dodge is now hoping to land a place at Weymouth College where he wants to study a BTEC sports course. Wey Valley assistant head teacher, Richard Edgeley, said: “Sam has been an outstanding ambassador for the school and thoroughly deserved our top sports award as Sports Personality of the Year.
“Not only has he represented the school with distinction in basketball, football, athletics and cricket, he has also shown great leadership and volunteering skills. We wish him well in the future.”
