Radipole School pupils have been introduced to the sport of biathlon.
The event was organised for Year Three, Four and Five pupils who took part in a run and a swim.
Year Three swam one length and ran 200m, while Year Four swam two lengths and ran 300m.
Each year saw their challenge increase with Year Five swimming three lengths and running 400m and Year Six totalling four lengths and running 500m.
The swim and run times were added together to give each pupil a final position with each one receiving a certificate of participation.
The event was organised by Pip Bowden (PE co-ordinator at Radipole School) and Tanya Howlett (Wey Valley School sport co-ordinator). The Wey Valley Sports leaders and parents also helped with the timekeeping.
