TERRAS’ boss Ian Hutchinson has urged fans to take full advantage of tomorrow’s free entry at the Wessex Stadium (3pm).

Blue Square Bet Premier side Crawley Town are the visitors for Weymouth’s second friendly outing of pre-season.

And as an extra incentive to supporters, chairman George Rolls is offering free admission.

The Terras went down 5-1 at the hands of Npower League Two outfit Torquay United in their opening fixture and Hutchinson is expecting an even “tougher test” against big-spending Crawley.

He said: “Crawley have been spending big and I’m sure it’ll be a tougher test than the match against Torquay.

“It’s a fitness exercise and a coming together exercise. We’ll also look to get the team into some form of shape.

“The score is not important to me, it’s more about fitness, attitude, shape and the way we do things.”

Of the free entry for tomorrow’s game, Hutchinson added: “It’s a nice gesture from the chairman and the last time he did such a thing a lot of people came through the gate.

“It would be great to see as many people as possible come down but they have got to realise who we are up against.

“There will be a lot of young, local players involved and it would be great to see the local community get behind them, as well as the other lads.”

Twelve trialists featured in last Saturday’s defeat and the majority of them will play a part in tomorrow’s clash.

The Terras’ chief said: “I’ve spoken to most of the trialists from Saturday and they have said they’re keen to come back, so hopefully we will have a similar squad with perhaps a few more added to it tomorrow.”

Those hoping to earn a prolonged stay on the south coast are ex-Dorchester strikers Jules Emati-Emati and Sam Charles, former Bournemouth trio Bradley MacGookin, Matt Oldring and Matt Kemble, keepers Tom Manley and Ashley Weeks, defenders Ugo Udoji and Ben Gerring, and Portland’s Alex Halloran, Lewis Whyton and Sam Clarke.

* Anyone wishing to join the Wey-mouth Supporters Association can do so tomorrow by visiting the group’s stand inside the Wessex Stadium.

Also on hand will be updated information on, and the opportunity for fans to donate to, the ongoing fighting fund, which is raising money to carry out legal action against Wessex Park Ltd and former chairman Malcolm Curtis.
