WEYMOUTH could face a tricky away trip to Taunton Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup on September 11.

The Terras are most likely to face the Peacocks, who must first overcome a preliminary round tie with Toolstation League Division One outfit Keynsham Town or South West Penisula Premier Division side Tavistock, who have been drawn together in the extra preliminary round.

Bishops Cleeve upset Weymouth in the second qualifying round last season.

Meanwhile, Bridport will welcome Toolstation Western League Premier Division side Welton Rovers to St Mary’s Field in the extra preliminary round of the FA Cup.

Last season the Bees famously bowed out to high-flying Truro City in a first qualifying round replay after previously knocking out both Keynsham Town and Dawlish Town.

If Trevor Senior’s troops are to reach that stage once again, they will first need to dispose of Welton on August 14 and then upset Clevedon Town on August 28.

Dorchester Town are not entered until the second qualifying round (September 25) of the world’s oldest cup competition, which was this year won by Chelsea thanks to a Didier Drogba free-kick.

Weymouth have also been informed of their opening FA Trophy fixture, which will be a first qualifying round clash with fellow Zamaretto Premier men Bashley on Saturday, October 16.

Dorchester Town do not begin their FA Trophy campaign until November 20 when they will be entered in the third qualifying round.

Bridport have been paired with South West Peninsula League Premier Division champions Buckland Athletic in the FA Vase.

The Bees will travel to Homers Heath on September 18 for their second round qualifying fixture. Victory would book them a date with Street, Odd Down or Wells City in the first round proper.

The early stages of the FA Youth Cup have also been decided with Dorchester Town set to host their Christchurch counterparts in the preliminary round (week commencing September 6).

Should the Magpies make it through that match, they will travel to Gosport Borough in the first qualifying round (w/c September 20).

The winners of the tie between the Magpies and Gosport will then host Poole Town or Swindon Supermarine in the second qualifying round (w/c October 6).

Weymouth Under-18s do not kick off their cup campaign until the week commencing September 20 when they take on Ringwood Town at home.

A win for the Terras would set up another home match, against Moneyfields or Calne Town (w/c October 6).
