EASTON boss Chris Wilson is hoping for a positive reaction from his side following last Saturday’s 5-1 defeat at rivals Weymouth Sports.
The Portlanders entertain struggling Wareham Ran-gers at the Grove tomorrow (3pm) where they will be without both Terry Oldrid and Richard Gould.
Wilson said: “We were pretty flat after last week’s de-feat. Not taking anything away from Weymouth Sports but the manner of the result was difficult to take.
“However, we have dusted ourselves off now and had a meeting about everything where everyone showed their determination to put in a strong finish to the season.
“We have three games left and the last thing that we want is to just let things peter out. We have got a good bunch of lads, who are all pretty honest, and I am sure they will be looking to make amends when we take on Wareham tomorrow.”
Rangers sit eighth in the Dorset Senior League table, just three points above the basement. Wilson, whose side lies third, added: “They have had a funny season because they are normally a pretty strong side.
“I know they were deducted points earlier in the season and at the moment they are near the bottom and in desperate need of a couple of good results so it promises to be a good encounter.
“I am still waiting to see if Ben Simmonds is going to be available but Terry is definitely out through work commitments as is Richard Gould, who has decided to pack it in for the rest of the season. One person who will return is Rich Limm.”
Easton: Anthony, Wilson, Burley, Carlile, Williams, B Skelton, Turrell, A Skelton, Moore, Baker, Bowler, Braund, Maxted, Limm. n The Kangaroos will look to secure back-to-back victories for the first time since mid-December when they take on Tintinhull in a relegation scrap at the Rec tomorrow (3pm) The Roos, who ended a 10-game winless streak last week with a 2-1 success at Wareham Rangers, sit bottom of the Senior League, three points adrift of Tintin-hull and a chance of safety.
