WEYMOUTH broke the 100-point barrier in a devastating final day display against Warminster at Monmouth Avenue.
The Seasiders hammered their opponents 104-12 but it was not enough to steal second place in Dorset & Wilts One South as rivals Bridport thumped Westbury 84-0 in their last game of the season.
Remarkably, Weymouth’s 92-point winning margin is not the largest seen this season, that accolade also goes to Bridport who humbled basement boys Wimborne Seconds 93-0 back in February.
However, Tony Worle’s men are the only ones to tally more than a century of points in one game.
