MATT Fiddes Martial Arts’ Weymouth school collected 10 trophies in a superb display at the Southern Kickboxing Championships.
The impressive haul from the 12-strong group was the highest tally of trophies for any one school on the day of the competition, which is a great achievement given that this was only their second ever event.
Among the trophy winners were Aiden Isbell, who came second in his sparring category, and Keara Isbell, who finished second in the forms and best technique category.
Third-place prizes for sparring were awarded to Arianna Duncan and Alex Priestly while Joanne Fuller triumphed in the forms category and placed second in full contact women’s sparring contest.
Kieren and Liam Cole also represented the Weymouth contingent.
