WEYMOUTH have sacked manager Alan Lewer and replaced him with former Wales boss Bobby Gould.
The Terras' board decided to relieve Lewer of his duties after yesterday's 1-0 defeat at Lewes - a loss that leaves Weymouth in the relegation zone.
Gould, who also includes Wimbledon and Coventry City on his managerial CV, will take charge until the end of the season, starting with tomorrow's Blue Square Premier fixture against Forest Green Rovers at the Wessex Stadium (3pm).
A statement on the club's website reads: "The club would like to thank Alan for his services during the course of what has been a very difficult season on and off the pitch."
