SWANAGE and Wareham Ladies 2nd team beat Eastleigh on the road to consolidate their second place in Division Two of the Forest League.
Things didn’t go to plan in the first period, as, despite the Swans having much of the possession, the hosts snatched the lead shortly before half time.
But Swanage came out firing in the second half, Poppy Maltby scoring from a short corner just minutes into the half to equalise.
Liz Solomon then scored two in quick succession, as Swanage dominated, Solomon completing her hattrick ten minutes from time to give Swanage the 4-1 victory.
Captain Yaz Unsworth said: “The team were amazing today and I’m so proud of everyone who played as we fought so hard for this win.
“We are having such a positive season and morale is high.”
