WEYMOUTH can take 'lots of learning moments' from their 1-1 draw with St Albans, according to assistant manager Brit Asagba.
Calvin Brooks was again the hero for the Terras after poking home from close range to salvage a point for the Dorset club on Saturday in the National League South.
The team had gone behind to a goal from Ken Charles but came back yet again to earn a draw and extend their unbeaten run to six matches.
Asagba was speaking after the game to the club's social media team and admitted it was not the team's best performance but they showed the same fight that has helped them avoid defeat.
He said: "To be honest, it was not one of our better performances of the season, but again, what has been the story of the season is the determination of the group.
"The way we fought back, we showed a lot of resolve, a lot of resilience, so at the end of the day, St Albans, as we say with most teams, their league position is kind of a little false.
"I thought they were excellent in the first half and they were good value for their point.
"So from our perspective, lots of learning moments, certainly not our best (game), but obviously we came back and showed resilience, which has been consistent all season.
"We'll take the point and regroup and move on to the next one."
Asagba was also delighted with Brooks goal saying that it is the responsibility of all the players to score goals.
The Terras assistant also said it was 'great' to see Jake McCarthy back at the club and.
Looking ahead, there is now a trip to Wimborne Town in the Dorset Senior Cup quarter-final on Tuesday night.
It comes before another important cup game against Weston-super-Mare in the FA Trophy at the weekend in what is a tightly packed schedule for the Terras.
When asked about how the team will prepare this week, Asagba added: "We will review the game because there were some really good bits in terms of when we did find passes and connected, but there were also bits we were not too happy with.
"We have Dorset Senior Cup on Tuesday and we need to give that attention now and rest and recover and get ready for that.
"Then on to training on Thursday and prepare for the Weston game.
"It is an FA Trophy game, obviously we have just seen weston so we have an idea of what they are going to be like and challenges they are going to present but like i said get through wimborne on tuesday then have a look at Weston and focus on that from thursday
