BRACKNELL TOWN 1

Rollinson 17

DORCHESTER TOWN 1

Fogden 79

DORCHESTER earned a well deserved point away at Bracknell Town in what was a lively game at the SB Stadium.

Wes Fogden scored with 11 minutes to go as the Magpies came from behind after the Robins took an early first half lead through Joel Rollinson.

The home side were also reduced to ten men midway through the second half before having a second man sent off in added time, but Dorchester could not find a winner as the points were shared in Berkshire.

Tom Killick made two changes from the 1-0 defeat to Swindon Supermarine last weekend as Will Spetch returned to the starting 11 along with Luke Roberts.

It was a lively first half in Bracknell with both teams carving out chances early on.

First, Bracknell's Sam Ashton let fly from 25 yards but watched his effort sail over before Roberts sent a strike of his own over the bar in the opening 10 minutes.

It was the home side who drew blood first though, as Rollinson unleashed a brilliant strike that rifled into the top corner.

Dorchester stepped things up as they looked for an immediate response to going behind.

Chances fell to Fogden and Jack Dickson but neither was able to beat Michael Eacott in the Robins goal.

With half an hour played, Dorchester had a penalty claim waved away after Dickson appeared to be brought down in the box, but the referee resisted the urge to point to the spot.

Bracknell almost doubled their lead in the 37th minute as Ashton looked certain to score form six yards, but the striker somehow sent his effort wide of Gerard Benfield's post.

Just before the half time whistle, Dorchester had two chances of their own to score, first Olaf Koszela fired wide before Luke Pardoe sent a shot past the post.

It was a quieter second half after the end-to-end action of the first half, with fewer chances created by either side.

Benfield made a good save after an hour to keep the Magpies within touching distance but it was the dismissal of George Knight for a second yellow card in the 70th minute that changed the game.

Nine minutes later Dorchester took full advantage of the extra man as Fogden tucked away the rebound from the midfielder's initial shot to level the scores.

Weymouth loanee Jake Scrimshaw had a chance to restore Bracknell's lead, but the striker sent his effort straight into the arms of Benfield.

Anthony Cheshire was then sent off after bringing down a Dorchester forward who was through on goal in what was almost the final act of the game.
