DORCHESTER Sports will look to extend their lead at the top of the Dorset Premier League this weekend.

The next round of fixtures sees Ashley James' table toppers take on in-form Swanage & Herston.

The Swans have not lost in theri last 10 games and could prove a tricky fixture for Dorchester at The Avenue.

Hot on their tails is Bournemouth Sports who face a tough home tie against when local rivals Bournemouth Electric visit Chapel on Saturday afternoon.

With two games in hand, Bournemouth Sports are well positioned to to take top spot and have yet to lose a game this season.

However, Electric are having a good first season in the competition and will be no pushovers in the local derby.

Elsewhere at the top, third place Cobham Sports take on Hamworthy Recreation Reserves at Merley Park.

At the bottom of the table, there is a big six pointer between Bridport Reserves and and Poole Borough with the west Dorset club heading to Turlin Moor.

Both sides will be desperate for three points to lift themselves away from the danger of the relegation zone.

Weymouth-based Balti Sports will be hoping to stop leaking goals when Wimborne Town Reserves visit Weymouth College Sports Centre.

The final game of the weekend is Hamworthy United Reserves who host Westland Sports at the County Ground
