DORCHESTER Town are 'back on track' after their midweek win over Plymouth according to manager Tom Killick.
The Magpies secured a 1-0 win over Plymouth at the Avenue on Tuesday night thanks to a second half strike from Shaq Gwengwe.
It come after the 3-0 defeat to Hanwell on Saturday which Killick described as a 'debacle' but it means the team remain within touching distance of the top teams sat in fourth.
Speaking after the game, he said: "I thought it was a good performance, although with the positions we got ourselves into inside the box, we would have liked more clear cut chances and more goals.
"People look at the league table but Plymouth will cause teams problems."
One element of the team's performance that pleased Killick was the way in which the team defended.
Plymouth were limited to very few chances in the game, and despite only winning 1-0, the game never really looked in doubt as the Magpies controlled the game.
The Magpies boss went on to praise his centre back partnership of Tom Bragg and Ieuan Turner for their performances.
He added: "But we could have been more clinical, we were dominant but we defended well, Braggy and Ieuan played really well after coming in late to the team after Will Spetch got ill.
"Overall though it was a good performance and after the debacle on Saturday, we have got ourselves back on track in the league."
Next up for Dorchester is an FA Trophy tie at fellow Southern League side AFC Totton on Saturday.
