DORCHESTER Town suffered their first home defeat of the season as Hanwell Town took all three points at the Avenue on Saturday.

Dan Carr put the visitors in front in teh opening five minutes before Jordan edwards doubled their lead on the brink of half time.

Hanwell added a third in the second half  through Will Hall with the result never looking in doubt.

Killick made just one change from the stunning 5-1 win over Sholing in midweek  as Marcus Daws replaced Shaq Gwengwe who was suspended.

The Magpies had the first chance of the game as Daws drilled in a low shot in the opening couple of minutes, but the host would soon find themselves behind.

Gerard Benfield failed to deal with a cross, which allowed Carr to finish into the far corner in the fourth minute.

As the game approached the twentieth minute, Hanwell keeper Sam Beasant keeper made a hash of a clearance which gifted Olaf Koszela a chance from 35 yards out but the forward was unable to find the target.

Tom Bragg came close with a header from a Corby Moore corner before Koszela had another chance as Dorchester pressed for an equaliser.

Luke Pardoe the hit the woodwork as half time approached and the feeling was the Magpies would rue missing so many chances.

Then into stoppage time, Hanwell doubled their lead after Chris Regis' through ball found Edwards who finished low into the corner.

After the break Dorchester peppered the visitors goal with more efforts.

Moore had two chances and Koszela came close again but the Magpies top scorer was unable to find the target again.

With twenty minutes to fgo Hanwell sealed the points after Will Hall headed home from a Carr free kick.

Koszela and Luke Roberts would have a couple of more chances as Dorchester looked to get back in the game but the result never looked in doubt.

The Magpies remain in fifth place thanks to results elsewhere, but Killick's former club Poole Town are now hot on the heels on their Dorset rivals after moving level on points.
