DORCHESTER Sports will be looking extend their lead at the top of the Dorset Premier League later today.
Ashley James' side are currently three points clear of Bournemouth Sports and will be looking to maintain their lead when the travel to Sherborne Town Reserves on Saturday.
Bournemouth have a game in hand on the Dorchester club, so they will be looking to stay within striking distance when they come up against an in form Swanage Town & Herston at Days Park.
The Swans have picked up 11 points from their last five games and look transformed since Craig Adams took charge of the club in September.
Blandford are another team in good form and although they sit in fifth place, they are just eight points off the top with three games in hand.
The Royals have scored 18 goals in their last three games and will look to continue that goalscoring form when they welcome bottom side Hamworthy United Reserves at Park Road.
Westland Sports, also with three games in hand and eight points behind Dorchester, host third place Cobham in what should be tight game between two good sides at the top end of the table.
Elsewhere in the league, Bridport Reserves travel to Hamworthy Recreation Reserves, whilst Balti Sports travel to Poole Borough.
