FORMER Dorchester Town manager Leigh Robinson has left his role as Tiverton manager.
Robinson leaves the Southern League Premier side having been at the helm for a year at the Devon-based club.
He was appointed manager in October 2023, and steered the club clear of relegation last season.
However, with the club currently sits in the league's relegation places, having picked up just two wins from their opening 11 games.
Therefore a 'mutual agreement' was reached by the club and Robinson who departs with immediate effect along with assistant Ben Gerring.
They were also knocked out of the FA Trophy by Dorchester after a penalty shootout at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium earlier this month.
Robinson's spell at the Avenue lasted 11 months having taken charge of 20 games, but left the club after just four wins in November 2020, citing he could not balance his work and football commitments.
He left the club in 19th position in the Southern League with his assistant Robbie Herrera taking the reigns at the Avenue.
Herrera lasted a year before Glenn Howes was appointed manager in 2021.
A spokesperson for Tiverton said: "Everyone at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium thanks Leigh and Ben for their dedication and commitment over the past 12 months.
"They took over at a particularly difficult time in the club's history, when relegation from the Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South looked likely, and steered us to safety.
"Their professionalism, dedication and devotion to Tiverton Town has been faultless; they are really good guys; and we are incredibly grateful for all that they have done for us during their time here."
