DORCHESTER Town striker Olaf Koszela has been hailed as a 'brilliant' player after his hattrick heroics against Sholing on Tuesday.
Koszela's tally for the season now stands at 10 goals and is the club's leading goal scorer this season - six ahead of last season's golden boot winner Shaq Gwengwe.
Magpies boss Tom Killick has come out and praised the forward after his exploits against Sholing as well as his dedication to the club.
He said: "He is not only a brilliant player, he is a real humble and decent lad and it is a real pleasure to have him around.
"When i first came to the club he would travel up in a car with a group of lads from the west country and then all of a sudden it was just him coming up on his own and it's a real slog, it's a real commitment he shows to get to us.
"I am sure he is loving his football, which he deserves to be, but it is also his commitment to the club."
Koszela's form will no doubt be attracting interest from other clubs, and Killick's admits that himself, however, with the player under contact at the club, Killick expects to keep their in form striker at the Avenue for the foreseeable future.
When asked about if the player could leave the club this season, Killick added:
"He is still young, and he will be attracting interest from other clubs and it could not be happening to a nicer guy, but he has to keep his feet on the ground.
"He is under contract here and is a hugely valuable member of our team.
"There is always a risk that when a player does well, but nothing will happen unless it is for the best for both olaf and the club."
Koszela will be looking to add to his tally when Dorchester welcome Hanwell Town to the Avenue this Saturday and will be hoping to come out as the season's top goalscorer after missing out to Gwengwe last season.
