PORTLAND United's newest addition has been described as an 'outstanding' player by joint manager Josh Hickman.
The Blues announced the signing of Jamie Hosking from Baffins Milton Rovers ahead of the Dorset Senior Cup defeat to Weymouth on Tuesday night.
The number 10, who can also play on the wing, is a player that the club have been following for a while and are 'excited' to welcome him into their ranks.
Speaking on the club's new signing, Hickman said: "Jamie is a top person and has the potential to be a very good player.
"He is outstanding on the ball and fits naturally into our squad and the ethos of the club and we hope to develop him further.
"We have appreciated hi for a while but it never materialised, but he has not got too many minutes this season so we were able to talk to him about joining us.
"He is really excited to be with us and we think he can be a natural in the number 10 area - somewhere shaun and I think we are light on."
