MARK Molesley has hailed his team's 'professional' performance after beating Portland in the Dorset Senior Cup.
The Weymouth boss said his side had a 'real productive night' with some players taking part in the tie at the Camp & Satherley on Portland whilst others were training and using the time to recover from the weekend's exploits at forest Green.
Despite coming up against lower league opposition in the Blues, Molesley was keen to use the game as an opportunity to get the team scoring and build confidence within the group.
With that in mind, a strong squad was selected with a near full strength team selected for the game.

Speaking after the game, Molesley said: "The goal was to always use the game as a training session and of course get throug hto the next round, football is all about winning, and I thought it was a professional performance from the team.
"We kept a clean sheet and it was a really productive night as we had one playing group and another group on rehab so everyone was busy."
Even though the Terras bagged three goals, courtesy of Andy Robinson, Ezio Touray and Euan Pollock, Molesley knows there is a lot more work to do to keep the team firing in front of goal.
He added: "We are not ignoring it (lack of goals), we are looking hard at it.
"If we had scored more, then the table could look different.
"It's not unlucky, we have to try and make an impact, and it has to be everyone, not just the forwards.
"It is how we work without the ball to win it back and in the final third it is about how we execute that.
"I still feel that we have players who can do that and we have ones to come back who can as well."
When asked if it is an issue that can be solved on the training ground, Molesley pointed to it potentially being a psychological issue.
He added: "It's a combination of everything, its certainly not from a lack of effort.
"There are technical points we can work on in training, with repetition and analysis, but I do think it is becoming a psychological thing, so we keep training and try to replicate the pressures."
