DORCHESTER Sports will be looking to keep their spot at the top of the Dorset Premier League this weekend as they host Holt United.
Ashley James' side took top spot on Wednesday night with a 2-1 win over Bridport Reserves, and will retain their place should they beat Wimborne-based Holt later today (Saturday).
Chasing Dorchester are Bournemouth Sports and Westland Sports, in second and third respectively, although both sides do have games in hand over James' side.
Bournemouth are likely to keep the pressure up on Dorchester as they host bottom side Hamworthy United Reserves at Chapel Gate, whilst Westland travel to Wimborne Town Reserves at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.
Weymouth-based Balti Sports will be looking for three points to help hoist themselves away from the relegation zone when they welcome Portland United Reserves to Weymouth College Sports Ground after five league defeats on the bounce.
Elsewhere in the league, sixth placed Blandford United welcome seventh placed Hamworthy Recreation Reserves to Park Road, whilst Bridport Reserves host Sherborne Reserves at St Mary's.
Poole Borough make the short trip to Merley Park as they take on fourth placed Cobham Sports, with Swanage Town & Herston hosting Bournemouth Electric at Day's Park.
