FROME 28
DORCHESTER 24
In a game where the lead changed seven times Dorchester were finally undone in time added on against Frome.
With many changes it was no surprise that Dorchester took time to settle and Frome opened the scoring with a simple penalty.
Dorchester hit back with a try from the impressive fullback Oscar Saunders on his debut, with Cohen Emery adding the extras.
The hosts retook the lead with a converted try of their own before Emery crossed in the right corner.
A third try for the hosts was followed by a penalty on the stoke of half time, and gave them a six point lead at the break.
The second half was a more cagey affair with neither side establishing any kind of dominance.
Entering the last quarter, Jack Hayward sneaked over from close range and Emery converted, but a dropped ball in midfield allowed a Frome winger to touch down and retake the lead for the home side.
As the minutes ticked by, Dorchester appeared to have won the game when Flyn Drummond danced his way through the home defence, giving the away side the lead by a single point.
However, Frome had one last attack and managed to squeeze over in the right corner meaning Dorchester had to settle for two bonus points.
