Two late goals spared Weymouth's blushes in a dramatic finale to their FA Cup tie with Winchester
Goals from Jamie Barron and Tommy Wright either side of half time had put the home side in control of the game after largely being the better side.
However, with the game about to enter the final ten minutes, Weymouth scored twice in five minutes to earn a reply on Tuesday night at the Bob Lucas.
A first goal of the season from Euan Pollock put the terras back within touching distance before substitute Ezio Touray completed the comeback with two goals in quick succession.
Mark Molesley had named an unchanged side from their 1-1 draw with Worthing as he continued to line up in a 4-42 formation, and welcomed Billy Terrell back from injury as the AFC Bournemouth loanee took up a spot on the bench.
The warnings signs came early for Weymouth sd Winchester found the back of the net through Jamie Barron in the opening ten minutes, but the referee had blown for a foul on Charlie Rowan in the build up.
IK Hill then put an effort wide of the post from distance as the hosts applied some early pressure on Weymouth
Tom Bearwish did force good saved from Luke Cairney in the Winchester goal before Pollock rounded the keeper but hit the outside of the post.
Despite creating the two best chances of the game, Weymouth were being caused problems from Winchester who dominated possession throughout the first half.
The home side then had a couple of penalty shouts waived away towards the end of the half, but it looked like the two sides would go into the break all square.
However, Winchester kept pushing for an opener with Trevor Carbon and Tommy Wright both having chances miss the target before Barron scored deep into injury time.
The midfielder's shot from the edge of the box was deflected leaving Buse no chance and the hosts went into the break 1-0 up.
It was a scrappy start to the second half, and it went from bad to worse to Molesley's side who conceded again within five minutes of the restart.
Dan Jones's shot turned into a through ball for Wright who made no mistake and put the ball past Buse to make it 2-0 for the Southern League side.
The Terras players seemed to stop, believing the assistant's flag would go up for offside, but it never came.
Weymouth looked to respond almost instantly, but Andy Robinson's strike from just outside of was superbly saved from Cairney to deny the midfielder.
With his side trailing, Molesley made a triple substitution with Brooklyn Genesini, Harry Jones and Keelan O'Connell replacing Leo Hamblin, Corey Jordan and Josh McQuoid.
After the changes Weymouth looked the better side and started to gain back some control in the game.
Toray was also brought on for Bearwish as the Terras hunted for a goal, sensing they had the momentum.
Then, with eleven minutes left on the clock Pollock claimed his first goal for the club as he finished from close range.
Robinson was then again denied by Cairney who tipped his long range effort over the bar as Weymouth sensed another goal was on the cards.
Winchester were being pushed back as the Terras dominated the final ten minutes of the game, with Charlie Rowan the next to come close with a header.
Then, up stepped Touray to level things up as he finished from close range to spin the game on its head with six minutes to go.
Calvin Brooks sent a long range effort just wide of the post as the tErras went in search of a winner before Bartlett attempted an audacious effort from the half way line for the home side, but neither side would score again.
The result now means that a replay will be played at the Bob Lucas on Tuesday, October 1
