Dorchester Town striker Wayne Robinson has been talking about competition for places 'driving' him to score more goals.

The forward joined the Magpies in the summer from Salisbury and has found himself on the score sheet in two of the club's last three games.

Speaking after his latest goal in the 3-1 win over Chertsey to the club's social media channel's, he was asked about the competition up top.

He said: "It gives you more of a drive to score goals and get your name out there.

"I feel it is good that all the forwards are scoring and contributing as much as they can."

Robinson has worked his way into Tom Killick's starting eleven in recent weeks playing off the left of a front three, with Shaq Gwengwe down the middle and Olaf Koszela down the right.

The forward is not fazed by playing out wide though and is happy to to be playing his part for the team.

He added: [I can play] anywhere in the front three, I don't mind playing [on the left], sometimes I could be up top or on the wing, I just do a job and contribute as much as I can."
