Portland joint manager Shaun Bessant has praised the team's defence after their convincing 3-1 win over Downton last weekend.
It may have been the Blues top goal scorer Greg Borthwick who took all the plaudits on Saturday, after netting a hattrick, but Bessant was keen to point out his 'fantastic' defence after the game.
Although Bessant admitted that the Robins goal was of 'our own doing' he was full of praise for his defenders.
Speaking to the club's social media channel after the game, he said: "It was of our own doing really.
"It was a scrappy goal, but other than that they didn't do much else and that was down to our lads in the back three just doing their job, defending the box and heading things.
"It was a fantastic effort across the back three.
As well as a resolute performance from the Blues defence, Bessant was also impressed with the way in which the midfield controlled the game.
He added: "Tom and Delvesy in the two sixes controlled the game and Josh did his bits in the eight - it was fantastic all round."
