Weymouth boss Mark Molesley believes his side should have had a penalty late on against Worthing - but 'refuses to feel down'.

The Terras manager was speaking to the club's Youtube channel after the game and believes the club should have been given a spot kick late on after Ezio Touray was brough down in the box.

He said: "Worthing are a well oiled team. They have the highest possession in the league I think, so we had to work hard to contain them and I think we certainly did that.

"The second half we picked and chose a little better and we were knocking on the door with countless corners and chances and free kicks.

"We were dying for a winner and we should have had a penalty at the end but it wasn't to be but we will be buoyed by our efforts today."

Molesley was also pleased that he was able to name an unchanged side again, something that had been an impossibility just a few weeks ago with so many players out injured.

He added: "We have named the same squad three times in a row which is the first time since we have been here and you could see that things we are working on are getting more fluid and more understanding with the team.

"You can see the group gave everything for the cause and being cheered on by the Weymouth faithful, they could see us giving everything.

"I refuse to feel down or hard done by things outside of our control.

"I am looking at what we do as a group.

"They are getting stronger and it's getting better."
