Weymouth manager Mark Molesley has labelled striker Euan Pollock a 'good finisher' as he goes in search of his first goals for the club.

The Dorchester-born striker joined the Terras earlier this year and has been one player to feature heavily in Molesley's side this year.

With nine appearances so far this campaign, the former AFC Bournemouth forward has had to fill in in various positions as the Terras injury list mounted up in the early stages of the season.

Injuries to players such as Keelan O'Connell, Brandon Goodship, Francis Amartey and Malachi Linot have mean that the versatile forward has been played across the front line.

However, with players returning to full fitness, Molesley believes the striker can play in his preferred position on a more regular basis and start to get amongst the goals.

Speaking ahead of today's clash with Worthing, the Terras boss said: "It is not going to be too long for Euan, we have had to rest him in a few games but his work rate is brilliant and he is a really good finisher so it won't be long until he gets his goals.

"It is only in the last two games that he has been in his proper position as his role has changed a lot with injuries to the team.

"Once he gets that consultancy and a run in that position the goals will come."

With the confidence of his manager behind him, Pollock will be looking to get on the score sheet when Worthing visit the Bob Lucas later today.
