Weymouth & Portland Rugby Club will be taking advantage of a two week break after recording back-to-back wins.
The Seahorses ran out comfortable 30-8 winners over North Dorset II last weekend to put them top of Counties Two.
An early maul from a line out saw Chris Norton cross the white wash for an early score by the Seahorses, which was converted by Ed Van Deurs Goss.
North Dorset took advantage of a huge gap in the Weymouth defence to score a try which was not converted before James davis extended Weymouth's lead with the team's second try of the game, again converted by Van Deurs Goss
North Dorset would score a penalty just before the break leaving the scores 12-8 to Weymouth atthe break.
After the restart there were two penalties from Van Deurs Goss, before Weymouth's Argentinian open-side flanker Facundo Belcuore scored twice.
His first try saw the Argentinian run 80 metres after North Dorset restarted from Van Deurs Goss' second penalty.
He then finished from close range after some good pressure form the Seahorses forwards.
Speaking after the game, Weymouth coach Rich Bament said: "We are top and we are happy that we are performing well, but we are only two games in.
"There will probably be sterner tests ahead and we are are still trying to find our feet and the guys are really enjoying it."
The Seahorses don't have a game now until October 5 when they take on Puddletown and Bament is keen to use the time to work on the training pitch.
He added: "We had to rearrange a couple of games with Puddletown and East Dorset Dockers for one reason of another.
"But we will work hard in training and gel more as a team.
"I always say there is room for improvement and areas to improve on.
"Our rucking was not at its best on Saturday and defensively we were maybe slow to react.
"I always say that working hard off the ball will get you rewards on the ball so we will be working on it."
