Dorchester Sports manager Ashley james says his side need to 'address' their form when coming up against the league's top teams. 

Sports travel to Blandford this weekend and the Dorchester-based club are looking maintain their good form as they fight at the top of the Dorset Premier League.

The club's only defeats this season have come against Westland Sports and Bournemouth Sports - also teams challenging at the top.

James wants his team to overcome this barrier, starting with the visit to the Recreation ground.

He said: "It is definitely something we need to address and aim for. 

"We have not beaten one the league's top side's away for a long time now, so this is the perfect opportunity to do that.

"Confidence is high and it is something we want to do."

James also praised captain and in form striker Alex Godfrey after a blistering start to the season.

The striker has already registered double figures and James hopes that form will continue on Saturday. 

He added: "Alex is playing really well, with 10 goals, and his all-round game has also been good.

"His record at Blandford is good and he is in fine form and I hope he gets some goals on Saturday."

Nick Hutchings and Elliot Browne are suspended for the game, with Sam Duncalf and Sam Poole coming into the side as replacements.

Joel Hewitt is also available after being passed fit but Brandon Heal and Darren Watts remain injured.

Kick off is at 3pm at the Recreation Ground on Saturday, September 21.
