Portland United won't 'underestimate' Downton when the Wiltshire-based side come to town on Saturday afternoon.

Shaun Bessant and Josh Hickman's reign over the club has started well with two wins from three games in the Wessex League Premier.

Greg Borthwick has also been in fine form for the Blues this season having netted six goals, two of which came in last week's 3-2 win away to Laverstock & Ford.

However, despite the team being in good form, Blues joint-manager Josh Hickman is not taking anything for granted as they welcome the Robins to the Camp and Satherley this weekend.

He said: "It is going to be a tough test at home.

"funnily enough, at home we have probable struggled more, but we will be looking to change that.

"Downton have a good manager in Shaun Hale who has won promotion with Bemerton before so we won't be underestimating them that is for sure."

The Blues are also in a strong position squad wise as well as the prepare to host the Robins.

Bessant and Hickman have an almost full squad to pick from, wit justy long term injury Connor Callow unavailable and Ben Holloway is still awaiting international clearance to play.

Kick off is at 3pm at the Camp and Satherley on Saturday, September 21.
