Dorchester Sports manager Ashley James has described his team's win over Hamworthy Recreation Reserves as 'mad'.
Sports overcame The REC's reserve team after going a goal down in a game which also included three cards.
Despite falling behind early on, James's side battled back after two of their players were sent off in the first half - including returning goalkeeper Nick Hutchings.
The win moved Dorchester up one place to second in the table, joint points with Westland, although the Yeovil-based club have a game in on hand.
Following the win, James has praised his side's efforts after playing with nine men for half the game.
He said: "It was a mad game which had pretty much everything in it.
"Tt really was an unbelievable effort to win the game with only nine players for the whole second half.
"The lads worked so hard, it really was amazing."
The win was also a testament to the team's character and James believes it bodes well for the team as they chase promotion to the Wessex League this season.
He added: "To win games like that will give the lads massive confidence that we can win in pretty much any circumstance, we did it at Swanage and now here, its a massive win for us."
