NINE man Dorchester Sports came from behind as they beat Hamworthy Recreation Reserves 4-1 in the Dorset Premier League.
Ashely James' returned to winning ways in the league at the BJM Stadium in Hamworthy in what was an action packed match.
Charlie Harries opened the scoring for the hosts before a brace from Alex Godfrey put Sports in front at the break.
Red cards for Elliot Browne and returning goalkeeper Nick Hutchings saw James' side reduced to nine, although Ollie Wilson was also sent off for the home side.
An own goal and strike from Josh Leake wrapped things for sport in the second half in an action packed game.
Dorchester found themselves behind early on in the 7th minute when a through ball found Harries who took it past the returning Hutchings in the sports goal.
Sports then started to sharpen up and nearly equalised when Alex Godfrey went through and lobbed his effort over the home keeper but it went just wide of the far post.
With nearly 20 minutes played Sports afternoon was going to get even tougher when Harries was again through on goal, but Browne brought the striker down on the edge of the box and was sent for an early bath having deemed to be the last man.
The sending off seemed to spur Sports on but Godfrey spurned a golden opportunity when one on one with Hamworthy's keeper.
Sports' skipper would make amends and on 36 minutes found the equaliser when the impressive Leake rattled the crossbar from 25 yards out, and Godfrey was on hand to smash home the rebound.
Three minutes later Godfrey would double his tally for the afternoon when Sol Roche played him in to fire low into the corner and give Sports the lead.
The action packed first half wasn't finished there as Hutchings saw his marching orders for a foul on Harries on the edge of the box. Ham Rec's Wilson was also sent off for dissent.
Sam Duncalf come on in goal and his brilliant save from the free kick hit the post and Jack Steele cleared the ball off the line as the whistle blew for half time.
Sports now playing 4-3-1 had an early scare as the home side missed a golden chance, putting a tame effort wide.
The nine men of Dorchester worked their socks off and were rewarded when Leake fired in a low cross which Gavin Haynes turned into his own net 65 minutes.
Leake completed the scoring with five minutes to go as he fired in from a tight angle to send Dorchester level on points with Westland at the top of the table.
