Puddletown will look to build on their opening day victory when they travel east to Bestwall Road to face off against Swanage and Wareham secondss.
Both sides have returned to Counties Two after a year in the wilderness of Counties Three and both will be looking to make a mark.
For Swans it was an opening day defeat away to the hands of East Dorset Dockers, in what was a close affair.
Swans walked away with a losing bonus point as Dockers ran out 22-17 winners to get their season off to a positive start.
Looking to bounce back, Swans will be confident that they can get the better of Puddletown.
When the sides came together last year they finished the campaign with one win a piece, however, Swans ultimately held the bragging rights finishing champions of Counties Three with Puddletown achieving promotion finishing runners up.
Following the opening game of the season, there have been a few casualties for Puddle, Rhys Jenner & Will Roussel both picked up leg injuries in last Saturday’s win and have been ruled out of contention.
MATCH REPORT: Puddletown 35-19 Oakmeadians
Try scorers James Elwood and Bertie Hebburn-Heath are unavailable for the tie as is winger Alex Kley who is competing in the Short Mat Bowls Irish Open this weekend.
With those unavailable there is potential for a few debutants.
Ben Sirl & Jordan Horncastle all are in line to make their Puddle debuts this weekend as they return to their studies at Bournemouth University.
Speaking ahead of his debut, front rower Sirl hasn’t hidden his excitement: “I can’t wait to get on the pitch this Saturday and play alongside some class blokes.
"After a summer at home, it is feeling good to get back into the swing of things with initially Uni pre-season and now getting down to Puddle, so I am feeling ready to put on a show”
Despite the absentees the pack will remain largely unchanged, with props Gruff James and Dylan Trevor likely to start with the Byrne twins sat behind them in the row.
Speaking on his debut last week Theo Byrne has also looked ahead to this weekend: “It was a pleasure to make my debut against a determined Oaks squad last week and to get a debut try to go with it.
"I am excited to bring that energy forward into this weekend against Swans, the buzz around the club is impressive and we can't wait to build a reputation at this level in Counties Two.”
The game at Bestwall Road this weekend kicks off at 3pm with the bar open beforehand.
