WEYMOUTH manager Mark Molesley has said he is 'indebted' to the club after securing four new signings to help with their injury crisis.

With so many players being sidelined, in what has also been a busy period packed with games, the club has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help bring in more players to bolster squad depth.

With the additions of Jordan Maguire-Drew, Glenn Gabriel, Jake Scrimshaw and Harry Jones, Molesley knows the support from the club has been vitally important.

He said: "I am indebted to the hierarchy, the chairman and directors could see we needed bodies and I am indebted to the support they have shown in securing more.

"It will make us stronger going forward and we are stronger than a few weeks ago."

Despite the new players coming through the doors at the Bob Lucas, there are still injuries to Keelan O'Connell, Malachi Linton, Brandon Goodship and Ben Greenwood.

Players such as Josh McQuoid and Calvin Brooks have also been returning from injury and have been forced to play more minutes than maybe they should.

Molesley is all too aware of the dangers of pushing his players too hard this early in the season, with the risk of losing them to the physio room.

He added: "We are certainly not getting carried away, we are still a few weeks away from that real selection headache - it's about getting the players up to speed.

"Having more players does mean we don't have to leave players out there, like Calvin who has played three 90 minutes after six months out so we do need to be careful.
