Portland Reserves got back to winning ways in a five goal thriller in the Dorset Premier League on Saturday.
The Blues took an early lead against the run of play after some neat passing in the middle of the park was worked to Matty Chambers whose cross then found Sanchez Baker who headed home for the home side.
However, their lead did not last long as some sloppy play from Portland resulted in a corner that was headed home by Tom Beeson after 25 minutes.
The Blues reacted well and gained control of the match, taking the the lead just before half time.

Chambers turned from provider to goal scorer after finishing well from a good passage of play from the hosts.
After the break it was Portland who started the brighter of the two sides, but were pegged back to 2-2 after a mistake allowed Alfie Calway to score.
The visitors then controlled a scrappy game for the next 15 minutes and will feel hard done by not to add to their tally.
With the game entering the final five minutes, the Blues would again score against the run of play as 17-year-old substitute Darren Bowerman grabbed got the winner with a low finish to seal the win.
