Weymouth face Dorking Wanderers as they go in search of their first points of the season in the Vanarama National League South today.

The campaign has got off to a dreadful start for Mark Molesley's side with seven straight defeats in the competition.

The Terras boss described his side's latest loss to Hampton & Richmond as 'cruel' after Corey Jordan's own goal sunk them to another demoralising defeat.

He has also had to deal with a string of injuries to first team players in the early stages of the campaign.

Adding to that injury list is Billy Terrell, the AFC Bournemouth loanee is set to miss the tie against Dorking with Gerard Benfield being recalled from Dorchester to fill in.

The club has been proactive though in bringing in some new faces to bolster the squad's depth in attack, as injuries to forward players have been mounting up.

Jordan Maguire-Drew was brought in after his contract with Yeovil was mutually terminated, with the winger bringing experience from the Football League where he has made over 80 appearances.

Alongside the 26-year-old, German-born forward Glenn Gabriel has also joined Molesley's side, with both players making their debut's for the club in the 1-0 defeat to Hampton.

Injuries to Brandon Goodship, Keelan O'Connell, Malachi Linton and Josh McQuoid have meant that experience and depth has been lacking going forward, an area the Terras have struggled in so far this season.

The club has only managed to muster two goals this campaign, courtesy of Linton and Ezio Touray in the opening day defeat to Tonbridge Angels.

Since then the Terras have been misfiring, and whilst remaining in most games chances have come and gone.

With a lack of clinical finishing, the Terras have been unable to take advantage of moments where they have been on top in games.

Dorking Wanderers come into the game in better shape than Weymouth, although, the Surrey-based club have failed to win in their last two games.

The club have lost two, and won two of their previous five games and sit but sit respectable tenth in the table with 11 points, six off league leaders Hemel Hempstead.

Former Terras defender Brennan Camp is one player that will be known to fans having made 50 appearances over three seasons for the club.

Wanderers have scored nine goals in their opening seven games and have so far spread the goals around across seven players.

However, striker's Jason Prior and Rhys Murphy have both netted twice and will be ones to watch at Meadowbank.

Kick off in the Vanarama National league tie is at 3pm on Saturday September 7.
